Collages By Mom!

I have started making photo collages. I learned how to do this right before we traveled to China this past spring. I had some made of our travel group and then had them printed at Walmart. They really came out clear and nice.... even in the 4x6 little size! It is one way to get multiple photos on a page. This is just a hodge podge of what I made. Some are of the girls and some are of my family in NY. I made little photos to put in a book for the girls to look at so, they would know their NY family. My next project will be to gather photos of Chuck's Ohio and upstate New York photos! I want to make them one bookelet for their birthdays with both sides of the family in it.

The travel group photos are nice. We have collages with our referral pictures, home for one month, and six months. We even have a parent collage!

Hey... that is what I should do. I should go into business making travel group photo collages! Well, I have a million business ideas...mostly having to do with the computer. Sometime I will get a bright idea!

Enjoy!

What's In There?

My friend, Beth, came over to the house tonight. She is expecting and is due next week! The girls haven't seen her in awhile. They had heard that there was a baby in Miss Beth's belly and wanted to see. They both looked and looked. Kelsey just stayed and stared. That baby wouldn't come out! She tried to hear the baby too... nope, couldn't hear the baby either. Next week!

Beth_and_kelsey_listen Listen! What's in there??

No way. I can't believe there is a baby in here! Beth_and_kelsey_whats_this_no_way

Dolls

Here are the girls with their dolls. Aunt Phyllis got these for the girls for Christmas this past year. They are now playing with them more and more. Tonight I went out and bought them new clothes. The girsl were having a great time. They really were smiling more until I pulled out the camera and the pizza guy came. They were distracted and wanted pizza... not a picture!

Children's Books

Ok. I have to got to get off the internet and go to bed! I was trying to figure out how to make my own custom books with my own stories. In the meantime, I found this great site!! It's called I See Me! I am going to bed, but I will check it out tomorrow. You can click on this link below to check it out before me, if you like! Night, my friends!

My Dancing 4

I love this! Kayla's sister posted one of these on her blog while the family was in China. I thought I would try it out too. :-) I am using the same cut out because I am still trying to figure out just which ones are "appropriate."

Library Tote Bags

I love Mandy's Moon! I went to this site and searched for "totes". I think I am going to have them make up a totebag that says Kelsey's Books and Rachel's Books. When Daniel and Morgan were young, they both had a bag to hang on their door and keep their library books in. I think I might do this for the little girls too. :-) You can also click on the link below to see some of their other cool custom items.

Alivia, June Lee, and Carli

Yes, I like to follow other people's web sites and blogs! I especially like to follow their journeys if they are from either Kelsey's or Rachel's orphanage. If you look at the side of our web site, you will see a link for Cangwu and Wanzhou families. Click on that link and you can see other familes with little ones from the girls' orphanages. I updated some of the links and added Alivia and Carli from Rachel's orphange, and June Lee from Kelsey's orphanage.

Sad for Rachel

More_wanzhou_children_and_rachel_sp Wanzhou_1_001 Wanzhou_cribs_and_children_001 Rachel is dressed in orange.

We have pictures from Rachel's orphanage. We sent disposable cameras and they took pictures of just Rachel. When we sent her birthday cake, we sent another camera. They must have relaxed because with those cameras we got to see other children! The pictures are precious, but are obviously not labeled. Brenda is in China now picking up her beautiful daughter, Alivia. She was fortuanate and got to go to the orphanage. They didn't let her take pictures of other children, but she did get many pics of Wanzhou and was able to label them on her blog.

I am so glad to see these pictures. They really explain a lot about Rachel and some of the feelings she has. It makes me so sad. :(  The cement playground just seems so sad.

Click here to see her pictures of Wanzhou. (Taken Feb 21st)

Click here for the link to her main page, so you can follow her trip!

(On the good side, it looked like there were 20 cribs in the room. Brenda said there is now 12 cribs in 2 rooms, so that makes things a little less crowded for the children there.)
