Just and FYI.. in 1989 I was in an airport in Atlanta. We saw a woman sitting across from us that looked like Whoopi. We sat there for about 15 minutes and didn't say a thing... being polite. The next thing we knew people came running and they whisked her onto a plane.
Rachel loves to sing and dance! The oven is her favorite mirror. :-)

I have to make videos for Daniel and Morgan. Their pictures are not digital and all have to be scanned in! This video has all 4 kids in it!
I am serving on an educational committee in Richmond for the Virginia Department of Education. I have never been away like this before. My sister-in-law, Beth, came down to stay with the kids while Chuck was working. I am learning a lot and finding this process fascinating. The girls (and big kids) are happy to have Aunt Beth and Cousin Jessica down to visit. They had a good first day. Until.... we used Skype! Skype is the live video call via the computer. Kelsey tried it last night when Rachel was asleep. Tonight the two of them tried it. OK... break Mommy's heart and make me feel badly. Rachel sobbed and tried to touch my face on the screen. She wanted Mommy. (I/we thought Skype would make her feel better not worse. :( ) Here is a picture that Aunt Beth took for me and sent it via a cell phone. It shows are second attempt at talking. Poor Rachel is only whining and not crying in this picture.
They did have a good time today. They went swimming, had Taco Bell, went to BJs, and rode bikes in the front yard!
Daniel and Morgan went whale watching with Jeff, Courtney, Uncle Jim, and Darius. The little girls swam at our camp. FYI... Aunt Phyllis is my(Karen's) aunt. Carol is her daughter, my cousin! Jasmine is her daughter. THe girls are very close in age. Kelsey was 3 in March, Rachel was 3 in April, and Jasmine was 3 in July. They had a great time! We wish we lived closer!

Good news! Grace and Hope Foundation is sending a team to train foster parents to help children from Kelsey's orphanage!! Sponsoring children around the world is a good thing. I feel this extra special "pull" towards this group because these children are from Kelsey's hometown. They could be a relative or a friend of Kelsey's... if this program had been started earlier, it could have been Kelsey with foster parents. The children learn all kinds of things that will help them bond later on. These foster parents help until the children can be adopted. The orphanage has given the names of 14 children for the new program. Not all of them have sponsors!! As soon as the training is finished, you will receive information about your sponsored child. Thanks for considering sponsoring a child!

Where have I been? Do I have any good pictures of our vacation? Yes!! However, I can't share them right now. :( My laptop crashed and my hard-drive died. I will have a few more days of very limited internet until Dell gets my parts to me. Chuck brought his laptop, but it doesn't have all my bookmarks, files, etc. Also, he doesn't have a built in card reader, so I still can't take the pictures off the camera. Dell sent the parts to my Aunt in NY, she is coming to Cape Cod too on Sunday, so then I hope to have internet!! In the meantime, I can read my email on my cell phone, but that's it.
On a good note, we are having a great time! We finished our visit in NY and drove to Cape Cod. We are staying in a cabin at www.capecampresort.com .
When I have access to my email--without trying to type it on a cell phone-- I will respond. Stacey- Thanks for the super compliment. You are too sweet. Tonya- I am glad you did weigh in on the middle name issue. I think that is what I am going to do. I am glad that you asked XiXi. That makes me feel better. Kristin- I did get your mom question.
