LOL! Well, my mom enjoys looking at pictures, but she only likes to see a few of kids she doesn't know. Oh well, I am the playgroup person, so I am posting. Besides my mom just told me that she wasn't able to operate the computer well. So she isn't going to be looking. I am just to send her a few to her local Walmart every few weeks to pick up. LOL!!! Ok--- the rest of my family likes looking at all of our pictures! Enjoy!
We are sooo proud of Daniel! In the eight grade, a little over 100 students are asked to be in the Honor's program, based on their academic performance. The students continue on to high school, but have to take certain classes and volunteer. We weren't too sure. Daniel is our oldest and it is a big commitment with lots of AP classes, etc. .... and we all know what Daniel thinks about homework! After all these years, there were 24 from Tabb High who finished the program. Not only will Daniel receive an Advanced Studies diploma, he will also receive an Honor's Seal on it! We are thrilled and proud of him!
These picture are from a reception that was held to honor the IB and Honor students. Some of the school board members were there to congratulate the students. The principal that Daniel had in kindergarten was there! She now works at the school board. He received a certificate, a Barnes and Nobel gift card, and a Jefferson cup. (A Jefferson cup is a silver, hand-made, engraved cup.... I get one... but not until when I retire from the school district!)
I have made a plan for this blog (web site). I used to post quite often, but life has gotten so hectic. Now I do admit that I am on Facebook more often then the website. So.... here is my grand plan..... I am going to try to post all summer long! Then if by the end of the summer I have re-developed the blogging habit, I will keep going! If not, I will stop blogging. So... heads up, don't remove me from your blog reader! there is hope for me yet!
