Friends Traveling to China Again!

Our travel group has always been very special to us! We keep in touch with all of them. (LOL! Although, we need to hear from Dana more!) Honestly, we have a chat room and talk pretty much daily. We share such a bond! Remember April-- she and Sean just adopted their youngest two sweeties! Tonya still has her blog. Then there is Dana, Almaire (who we see every few months), Stacey, and Michelle. (Michelle and John were our constant companions in China. They are adopting again too!) Then there is Molly! Wow! Molly didn't have a blog last time. She has just started a new blog so everyone can follow along on her new journey. Her baby girl should be coming home soon!

Prayers for a Sweet Little Girl and her Family

Leslie and Charlie are in China to bring home their daughter, Suzannah! They have two sons waiting at home. Their sweet little girl has a cleft lip, they knew this because she was a waiting child. Here is a part of her blog entry. This was supposed to be one of the happiest days of their lives.

Today has been the hardest day of our lives. We met our daughter in a dank, dirty, filthy hospital in China. She is very sick. She is dying. We need many miracles to get her home to Vanderbilt.

Today when I checked the blog, I couldn't access it. I thought perhaps the family was "going private" with their blog. Which...nobody could blame them during this difficult time. They have chosen to keep their blog open to share their journey. Adoptive families and other familes from around the world are praying for Suzannah and her family. They are trying to get her well enough to bring her home!! Today that got to touch her and be closer to her!

Sean and April's New Darlings!

April and Sean traveled with us when we picked up Rachel. Their son's name is Aiden, and  he is a cutie pie! They are adopting two children from Ethopia-- a boy and a girl! It has been a long process with lots of ups and downs. I know they are thrilled to be welcoming these children home. Ethopian adoption works differently than Chinese adoption. I don't really know all the details, but  I do know that they are already their children!-- There was a court date while they were in the US. ... anyway, it is a much shorter trip. Sean is traveling by himself to bring home the two little cuties! April is home with Aiden.  She is keeping her website updated each time she talks with Sean. Check out their web page. Click here!

On Saturday morning, some of our reunion group went to the Virginia Living Museum. It was HOT! Daniel and Morgan were both a HUGE help. They are both good with kids and the girls all played with them both. I am so proud of how patient and caring they were!
